About the Cinderella movie

I've seen two movies that are similar to Cinderella before. Both movies should be quite old:
Firstly, this movie was about a foreign prince (I don't remember which country he was from) visiting another country. He secretly stayed out to play, met a girl, and then fell in love. In the end, the prince rode a white horse to the girl's downstairs to pick her up...
(Additional note: There is a scene that I am very clear about. After the prince was left behind, he wore a knight-like formal suit. Later, he changed into casual clothes at a clothing store.)
Second, the story seemed to take place in Rome, Italy. The male lead's family was very rich, but the relationship between father and son was not very good. He liked music and formed a band. Later, he met the female lead and the two of them got together. They lived together in a house in the park. In fact, the male lead's father had used his connections to let them stay there. The female lead also lived with a park manager. They became good friends. Later, in order to delay the female protagonist's visa, the male protagonist asked his father for help. The condition was, of course, to stay and inherit the family business. In the end, they were still together.
