Zuo Zongtang was born in 1851 and was a famous general and politician in the late Qing Dynasty. He was born in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China, where he grew up and worked. In the process of Zuo Zongtang's growth, the political corruption and social unrest of the Qing Dynasty gradually intensified. In 1875, the Taiping Rebellion broke out and Hunan Province became one of the areas of influence of the Taiping Rebellion. Zuo Zongtang performed well in the war and led the army to defeat the Taiping Country and maintain the safety of Hunan. Zuo Zongtang continued to participate in China's political affairs. In 1890, he became the prime minister of the Qing Dynasty and participated in a series of political reforms and diplomatic activities during the late Qing Dynasty. He also actively supported the process of China's modernisation and put forward the idea of "industrial prosperity" to promote the modernisation of Hunan. Zuo Zongtang's achievements in the political and military fields were widely recognized and praised. He was known as the " First Official of the Late Qing Dynasty " and was recorded in the " Chinese History of Famous People ".
