Summer vacation fun Summer vacation was a season that people looked forward to because they could have a lot of time to play and do some interesting things. My summer vacation was a trip to America. A few weeks before the summer vacation, my family and I began to plan our trip. We chose to go to a famous city in America-New York City. There are many places worth visiting in this city, such as Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and Times Square. A few days before the trip, we began to prepare our necessities. We bought plane tickets, visas, insurance, and downloaded various travel applications so that we could easily navigate, book restaurants, hotels, and so on. Our journey began the moment the plane took off. I felt a little excited but also a little worried. Because this is a long trip, I need a long time to get used to the jet lag. However, I quickly adapted to the time in the United States because of my jet lag. After a few weeks of travel, we finally arrived in New York City. I was very excited because I could finally see the beauty and vitality of this city. I strolled in the Central Park, admiring the beautiful natural scenery and ancient buildings. I also went to the Statue of Liberty and Times Square to enjoy the spectacular performances and light shows. A few days after the trip, we went to a local restaurant for dinner. It was a very traditional restaurant with an old menu and a warm waiter. We ordered some traditional American dishes such as steak, roast chicken and salad. I also tried some local delicacies such as hamburgers and pizza. The whole trip was very enjoyable. My family and I had an unforgettable summer vacation. This trip allowed me to learn a lot of new knowledge and also let me better understand the American culture and lifestyle.
