The true history of the Yang family
The true history of the Yang family could be traced back to the Northern Song Dynasty. During the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a famous general, Yang Ye. His family was known as the Yang family's tiger generals because his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather had all performed well in different battles. Yang Ye was Yang Ye's son. He had performed well in many wars, including the invasion of Liao and Xixia. During the Zhenzong period, he was conferred the title of King E and became one of the generals of the Northern Song Dynasty. His father, Yang Anquan, was also known as one of the five famous generals of the Song Dynasty. He had performed well in the process of resisting the Liao Kingdom. Yang Ye himself also performed well in the battles against Liao and Xixia and eventually became a national hero of the Song Dynasty.
