Crusoe was an English novel, also known as " Crusoe " or " The Rest of the Desert Island ". This was a novel published by Daniel Defoe in 1719. It was about a British merchant named Crusoe who was stranded on a deserted island for 28 years after being shipwrecked during a voyage. Through self-discipline, diligence and creativity, Crusoe gradually adapted to loneliness and predicament on the deserted island and finally gained freedom and success. The novel was regarded as a classic adventure novel full of mystery, challenge, and survival wisdom, and became a classic literary work.
