Han Han's Story of the Triple Door
Three Doors was a story about the friendship, love, and personal experiences of three young people in a small Chinese town in the early 1990s, including the teachers and students of Three Doors Middle School. The protagonist of the story, Mei Ting, Li Xiang, and Han Hong, three boys from Sanchongmen Middle School, had known each other since high school and helped each other grow up together. They had experienced many interesting things in school, such as pranks in class, conflicts between teachers, and so on. At the same time, they also had their own secrets and troubles, such as Mei Ting's family background, Li Xiang's love experience, Han Hong's psychological problems, and so on. However, after they became adults, the fates of the three boys changed drastically. Mei Ting became an excellent reporter, Li Xiang became a successful businessman, and Han Hong became a famous reporter. They each pursued their own dreams but also experienced many setbacks and difficulties. At the end of the novel, the students of Sanegon High School reunite and reminisce about their high school days. Together, they lament the passage of time and the impermanence of life.
