What's with the aesthetics of violence?
War Art refers to a literary style that uses violent elements in literature, movies, games, and other artistic forms to express emotions, stories, worldviews, and so on. This literary style usually emphasized the beauty, shock, and visual impact of violent scenes. At the same time, it often added some emotional elements such as hatred, fear, and anger to make the works of violent aesthetics more colorful. The aesthetics of violence were reflected in literary works such as ancient Chinese novels such as Dream of the Red Chamber and Water Margins, as well as modern novels such as Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. The representative works of the aesthetics of violence in movies included The Godfather, Schindler's List, and Violent Neighborhood. In the gaming field, violence aesthetics often appeared in various games such as World of Warcraft and Metal Gear. Although violent elements can play an important role in artistic works, the aesthetics of violence is not the same as violent behavior. It focuses on a literary style and aesthetic expression rather than actual violent behavior.
