Yevgeny Ivanovich Tolstoy, one of the three giants of Russian literature, was regarded as an outstanding representative of Russian literature, including The Hunter's Note, War and Peace, and Crime and Punishment. The Hunter's Notes was considered one of Tolstoy's most famous novels. It described the rural life and social life of Russia in the early 19th century from the perspective of a hunter, as well as the inner contradictions and pain of the characters of that era.
