In real history, Huo Qubing was born in Central Asia in 141 B.C. and died in 117 B.C. In 117 B.C., Huo Qubing fought a series of wars with the Xiongnu and finally won and was granted the title of Marquis. He performed well during the war and was appointed by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty as a general to manage the Battle of the Southern Desert. Huo Qubing was only 22 when he passed away, but he left behind a son, Huo Shan, and a daughter, Mrs. Huo. Huo Shan became the Crown Prince of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and Madam Huo became the Empress of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Huo Qubing's descendants continued to rule the Han Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and became prominent families in the Han Dynasty.
