In the Three Kingdoms, Da Qiao was a very famous female character. She was a princess and politician of the Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. The historical records of Da Qiao were rather rich. She was born around 260 AD and was the younger sister of Sun Quan's great-grandmother, the Sun family. She played an important role in the political and military fields of Dongwu and was known as the "number one talented woman of Dongwu". According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Da Qiao married Liu Bei's second son, Liu Chan, during the Eastern Wu period and became a minister of Shu Han. However, due to some political reasons, Da Qiao was not fully respected in Shu Han. It was said that when she was in Shu Han, she left Shu Han because she was dissatisfied with the political environment and then returned to Wu. Da Qiao was a very talented and charming woman.
