In autumn I look back at you, still floating in the wind, not yet on cinnabar, ashamed of Ge Hong.
Who is the hero who drinks and sings in vain?

In the season of falling flowers, I meet you again and sing loudly on the high tower.
I wish to be in the ashes with dust and ashes.

Explanation:

In this poem, Du Fu recalled the days when he once drank and had fun with his good friend Wei Ba, singing and drinking. Now that his good friend had passed away, he had become a drifting grass.
