Internet reading refers to reading e-books, articles, news, and other text content on the Internet. A web reader was a software that could download text content such as e-books, articles, news, and blog to a computer or mobile device to read. It could also read text content online without downloading, which was convenient and flexible. The advantages of online reading include: no need to buy or store e-books or articles, you can read them anywhere; convenient to carry and read anytime and anywhere; you can search and filter text content to find interesting content; you can save reading progress and notes for easy review and summary of reading content. There were also some shortcomings in online reading, such as copyright issues, possible advertisements, and junk information.
