Seeking the author and name of a martial arts novel

I can't remember the name of the novel. It's a novel I read more than 20 years ago (not the kind that was published online)
In traditional wuxia novels, the martial arts scenes tended to be realistic. It was not the kind of martial arts that involved cultivation and UFO. It was all martial arts scenes that involved physical punches.
The protagonist was an assassin who had been trained since childhood in an assassin's village. The training method was to eliminate the elites. The protagonist seemed to have rebelled against the Assassin Mountain Villa (organization) because of his friend's death or some other reason (I remember that he wanted to send his friend's bones home or something). Later on, the plot seemed to be about being hunted down by an organization or something, but he couldn't remember clearly…
