The Story of Water Margins
Water Margins was one of the four famous novels in ancient China. The author was the Ming Dynasty. The novel told the story of 108 heroes of Liangshan who gathered at Liangshan Lake to resist the rule of the imperial court. The story begins with the heroes of Liangshan being recruited by Zhu Baba to rebel against the imperial court. After the gathering of the righteous at Liangshan Lake, the heroes of Liangshan finally defeated the imperial army through a series of battles and struggles, achieving the goal of "enforcing justice on behalf of heaven". In the history of Liangshan Lake, they not only established immortal meritorious deeds, but also trained many outstanding generals and martial arts masters to become one of the famous rebel organizations in Chinese history.
