The Four Great Masterpieces
The Four Great Masterpieces referred to the four classic works of Chinese classical novels: Dream of the Red Chamber, Journey to the West, Water Margins, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. These four works were all chapter novels, in which each chapter was an independent story, and each chapter included multiple chapters, so they were called "chapter novels". Each novel had many chapters, and each chapter contained an independent story. The plot was ups and downs, and the characters were full. It was a classic work in Chinese classical novels.
