Liu Lanfang's Pingshu, The Generals of the Yang Family, was a classic Chinese martial arts novel. It told the story of Yang Ye and Yang Zongbao, father and son, who led the rebel army to fight against the Mongolian invaders at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty. The storyteller, General Yang, had attracted many audiences with his wonderful plot, unique narrative style and profound character creation.
