Mother's Life
According to the information provided so far, there was an article called " My Mother's Life ", which described " my " experience as a Yin child. After my mother died, she became a mother to protect " me " and take revenge on those who bullied " me." This experience affected " my " personality and life trajectory. There was also a sadistic modern novel called " Mom, I've returned the life you gave me." The protagonist was Shen Yue and Bai Qingwu. He had a system that could control time. Because he had reversed time for his family many times, his family still wanted him to continue reversing time. After the protagonist refused, he was treated by his family. I'm not too sure which novel you're referring to when you say " the first chapter of the novel, Mother's Life." If it's " My Mother's Life," the follow-up of this article may be a deeper discussion of the subsequent life of " me " and the relationship between " me " and my mother, such as the psychological changes of " me " after knowing what my mother had done for me, or how to face life again under the influence of my mother, etc. If it was " Mom, I've returned the life you gave me," the follow-up might continue to revolve around the conflict between the protagonist and his family, such as whether the protagonist would escape from the control of his family or whether he would take revenge on his family. Read more exciting novels for free

Why don't cultivation novels write about modern times?
This statement was not accurate. In fact, many cultivation novels were written in modern times. Some cultivation novels were set in modern times to create unique story conflicts and plot developments. For example, combining the elements of ancient Cultivation with the technology, culture, and social structure of modern society could bring a strong sense of contrast and novelty. For example, in some modern cultivation novels, cultivators had to hide their identities in the modern urban environment and cultivate in high-rise buildings, or they had to combine cultivation with modern occupations. For example, doctors, students, and other protagonists had to cultivate, which added a different kind of interest to the story. At the same time, a modern setting would also attract contemporary readers, making it easier for them to feel a sense of immersion. They could imagine the fantasy elements such as cultivation appearing in the familiar modern life scenes to satisfy their pursuit of superpowers, immortality, and other fantasies. Moreover, the diverse values and complex interpersonal relationships of modern society also provided rich material for cultivation novels, which could be used to construct complex story lines and character relationships. Read more exciting novels for free
