The influence of English on me, speech script, high school
The following is an example of a high school speech on "The Impact of English on Me": Dear teachers and students, Hello everyone! Today, I would like to share with you the impact of English on me. In this era of global trade, the importance of English was self-evident. For me, English has opened a door to the vast world for me. Its influence on me is multi-dimensional and far-reaching. First of all, from the perspective of knowledge acquisition, English has greatly broadened my horizons. Most of the world's cutting-edge scientific research results, rich cultural and artistic treasures, and advanced ideas were spread in English. By learning English, I can directly read English books, documents, news and other materials. For example, when I was exploring the natural sciences, I could read papers written by top foreign scientists and gain an in-depth understanding of the latest research findings that had not been translated into Chinese. In literature, I could savor the original English poems and novels, feel the unique charm of literary works in different cultural backgrounds, and appreciate the profound thoughts contained in plays such as shakespeare. These were all things that could not be fully understood only by translating works. Secondly, English has played an important role in improving my personal ability. In the process of learning English, my memory, logical thinking ability, and language skills have all been trained. Remembering a large number of words and grammar rules helps to improve my memory; analyzing sentence structure and constructing the framework of English composition exercises my logical thinking ability; and through oral practice, I learned how to clearly and accurately express my views. Whether in class discussions or participating in English speech competitions, this language expression ability allows me to show myself more confidently. Moreover, mastering English also gave me an advantage in various competitions and exams, such as getting good grades in international English competitions or English exams. This not only recognized my English ability, but also motivated me to work harder in other subjects. Moreover, English has provided me with more opportunities for interpersonal communication and future development. In school, I have the opportunity to get to know exchange students or foreign teachers from different countries and interact with them. This kind of cross-cultural communication allowed me to learn to respect and understand different cultural customs, and broadened my international vision. In the long run, English is the key to my future career plan. Whether it was to engage in international trade, diplomacy, tourism, or work in a Multinational Corporation, a good level of English was a must. It allows me to effectively communicate and cooperate with my international counterparts, break the language barrier, and realize my career dreams. However, the process of learning English was not smooth sailing. I also faced many difficulties, such as complicated grammar structures, a large number of vocabulary memory, and shyness and lack of confidence in oral expression. However, it was these challenges that taught me to persevere and overcome difficulties. Every time I overcome a difficult grammar point, remember a new word, and speak English bravely, it is a sign of my growth and progress. In short, English has influenced me in all aspects. It is a tool for me to obtain knowledge, a way to improve my abilities, and a bridge to open up the future. I believe that English will continue to play an irreplaceable role in our studies and lives. Thank you, everyone! Read more exciting novels for free
Color temperature change task
Color temperature was a physical quantity used to define the color of a light source in illumination. The unit was "K"(Kelvin). It is to heat a standard black body. As the temperature rises, its color gradually changes from red to light red, orange to yellow, white to blue, white to blue. When the light color of a light source is the same as the light color of the black body at a certain temperature, the absolute temperature of the black body at that time is called the color temperature of the light source. In photography, video, display, and other equipment, the principle of color temperature could be used to achieve a change effect. For example, changing the mixing ratio of the three primary colors could simulate the effect of increasing or decreasing the color temperature. This process was called the color temperature effect. Generally speaking, light with a low color temperature is yellowish, such as incandescent lamps around 2800K; light with a high color temperature is blue, such as purple lamps above 9000K; standard white light has a color temperature of 6500K, and the white light emitted by the LCD is about 5500K. The color temperature of the light emitted by common white lamps was between 2700K and 6500K. In terms of practical applications, color temperature had an impact on human perception. The closer the color of the light was to red (the lower the K value), the warmer and hotter the impression it gave people; the more bluish-white (the higher the K value), the colder and calmer it gave people. This was also the origin of the concept of warm white and cold white. For example, warm light (low K value) was often used in home lighting to create a warm feeling, and cold white light (high K value) was used in office lighting to improve work efficiency. In addition, the human body's rhythm adapted to the color temperature of natural light, making warm light easy to make people want to sleep, cold light to make people wake up. In terms of lamps, the color temperature of LED lamps was mainly determined by the lamp bead (LED light source). Although the color temperature adjustment lamp was controlled by the driving power supply, the color temperature of the light mainly depended on the lamp bead. For dual color temperature lamps, the color temperature adjustment function can be realized. In the color adjustment of the filter, it also involved the adjustment of the color temperature, such as lowering or increasing the color temperature value. At the same time, the exposure, sharpness, contrast, brightness, sharpness, and other parameters were adjusted to achieve a specific visual effect. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>
