Speech on the prohibition of indiscriminate logging
Protecting Trees: Against Deforestation Ladies and gentlemen, Today, I would like to talk about a very important issue - the prohibition of deforestation. Trees are an essential part of our ecosystem. They play multiple crucial roles. Firstly, they are like the lungs of the earth, constantly absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, which is vital for all living beings on the planet. Secondly, they help in soil conservation. The roots of trees hold the soil firmly, preventing soil erosion. This is especially important in areas with sloping terrain or near water bodies. However, in recent times, deforestation has become a serious problem. There are many negative consequences associated with it. For example, it has led to a reduction in biodiversity. Many animals and plants lose their habitats due to the destruction of forests, and some species are even on the verge of extinction. Additionally, deforestation can disrupt the water cycle. It may cause problems such as reduced rainfall in some areas and increased flooding in others. To protect our forests, there are already many laws and regulations in place. For instance, in many countries, there are laws that strictly punish those who engage in illegal logging activities. These laws aim to deter people from cutting down trees without permission. We should also raise public awareness about the importance of forests. Everyone should understand that by protecting trees, we are actually protecting our own future. We can start from small things in our daily lives, such as using less paper products, which can indirectly reduce the demand for timber. In conclusion, prohibiting deforestation is not only a legal requirement but also a moral obligation for all of us. Let us all work together to protect our forests and ensure a sustainable future for our planet. Thank you! Read more exciting novels for free
Single-phase motor, 11 Thousand-Watt current, how many amperes?
For a single-phase motor, the relationship between power, voltage, current, and power factor is <I = P/(Ucos2)>. Given the active power of <P = 11> Kilowatts><= 11000> Watt, voltage <U = 220>, power factor <cosp = 0.8>, current <I = 11000 div220 div0.8 = 62.5>> amperes. According to the calculation of I = P/U, it is 11000w/220v = 50 amperes, so the current of the 1100w single-phase motor is about 50 amperes. In actual operation, if it is unloaded or lightly loaded, the motor current will be less than 50 amperes. If the load is overloaded, the motor current will be greater than 50 amperes. The operation time cannot be long, otherwise the motor will be damaged, and the overload circuit breaker will act to cut off the power supply. The rated current of the 11KW motor was 28.8A, and the starting current was 5 - 7 times the rated current, which was 109 - 152.6A. Read more exciting novels for free
