Teaching Reflection on the Second Volume of the Eighth Grade in 2021
There were some special and challenging aspects to the teaching of the eighth grade in 2021. The eighth grade was a transition grade, and there were many situations that needed to be dealt with. There were many differences in language teaching compared to the teaching of the higher grades. Although the learning of new words was not the focus of teaching, it was still difficult for some students and could not be ignored. Reading should be the focus, but due to the limitations of students 'cognitive level, it was difficult to grasp the "degree" of teaching. The new teaching materials had a large gap, and the teacher's guidance was sometimes ineffective. In terms of teaching materials, the new teaching materials focused on cultivating students 'learning habits and abilities, but some of the language knowledge requirements were not clear enough, such as the use of punctuations, understanding of various sentence patterns, and sentence training. In the teaching of reading texts, it was necessary to make the teaching goal consistent with the students 'actual situation and avoid teaching too deep and difficult. It was difficult to let the students have something to say and feel. This required the teacher to understand the difficulties and interests of the students, make teaching predictions when designing the teaching plan, and constantly adjust it according to the actual situation in the classroom. In the classroom, teachers should pay attention to the formation of students 'learning habits and abilities. The role of teachers in junior high school is more important. Independent learning also needs teachers' guidance. Teachers should constantly reflect on teaching behavior, improve theoretical level, update concepts, and improve classroom teaching. At the same time, there would be bottlenecks in teaching. For example, students would feel bored if the teaching mode was single, and the effect of composition teaching would be poor. Teachers needed to recharge their studies, read more educational theory books, increase their cultural background, learn from others, reflect on teaching, and improve their grasp of teaching materials and classroom control.
