The Himalayan Sound Studio Training Camp scam
There were many problems in the Himalayan Sound Studio Training Camp that were accused of being scams. First of all, there was a serious problem of false publicity. For example, the free training camp attracted students, but there was almost no dubbing knowledge in the training camp. Instead, it emphasized that being a voice anchor was very profitable to induce students to sign up for classes. For example, some students spent 3980 yuan to sign up for the "Climbing Plan" class. After learning it, they found that the so-called training was to harvest "leeks" by using the information gap. There were many free courses available online for recording and broadcasting the content of the class. In terms of teachers, the propaganda of authoritative big shots teaching and face-to-face with masters were all fake. Only a few of the thousands of students online in the live broadcast class could be connected to the guidance. The teachers answered perfunctorily, and even the dialect and Mandarin questions were rarely corrected. The promise of one-on-one guidance was not fulfilled. In terms of equipment sales, there were situations where equipment was sold at a high price. The teaching assistant said that the recording equipment was not good enough. He recommended the 2999 yuan sound card and earphone set on the happy broadcast platform, while the same set on other e-commerce platforms was only sold for 919 yuan. In addition, there were students who spent 9980 yuan to buy the "Voice Host Free Learning package." The course introduction said that after purchasing any course, they could become the original host of the Himalayan platform after graduation. The courses that were purchased at a high price could receive official traffic support, but in fact, spending more money could not get traffic support. Moreover, the courses were not as publicized. For example, the "Master Live Private Class" was actually attended by hundreds of students at the same time. The one who commented was not the master but the senior. In addition, there were more than 4000 complaints about the Himalayas, among which complaints such as "false propaganda" and "misleading consumption" were common. The Himalayas had also been interviewed many times because of false propaganda.
