What kind of lens should I bring with me when I travel with a DSLR?
When choosing a DSLR lens for travel, the main consideration was its lightness and whether it could meet the shooting needs. The following types of shots can be used for reference: 1. ** Large zoom lens **: If you don't pursue the ultimate image quality and focus on traveling or sweeping the streets, you can consider lenses such as 28 - 200mm and Z24 - 200mm. The advantage of this type of lens was that the long focal length could capture some scenes that mobile phones could not capture. It could achieve the world in one shot and save the trouble of changing lenses outdoors. For example, the Nikon Z24 - 200mm F4 - 6.3 was priced at 5799 yuan, covering wide-angle to telephoto. The center image quality was good, but the edges were weak. It was worth buying for Nikon users who only had one camera and one lens. The overall weight was only 570g, and it was relatively light for daily street sweeping and traveling. Tenglong 28 - 200mm F2.8 - 5.6E mount, priced at 5088 yuan, with full focal length coverage, basically able to meet all kinds of shooting needs. It was more important to be able to shoot well than to shoot well during travel, and reducing the weight burden could also increase the enthusiasm of outdoor shooting. 2. **70 - 200mm telephoto lens **: This focal length has a very high production rate. The telephoto lens is not only suitable for travel, but also unique in shooting scenery, culture and other subjects. If you were stuck between F2.8 and F4, you could choose F4 if you wanted it to be light, F2.8 if you wanted picture quality, and consider a sub-factory lens if you didn't have enough budget. For example, the SonyFE70 - 200mm F2.8GM OSS II, priced at 17099 yuan and weighed 1045 grams. It was a second-generation product. Compared to the first-generation, it was nearly 30% lighter. The focusing speed was significantly improved, and the dispersion and glare control were excellent. The Sony70 - 200mm F4 Macro G OSS II was priced at 9599 yuan. Its size was reduced by about 15% compared to the previous generation. Its weight was reduced by about 46g, only 974g, and its length was shortened to 149mm. It adopted an external zoom design, which was light and compact. It had high image quality and high resolution. When the aperture was fully opened, the image quality from the center to the edge was very good. The focusing ability was improved and the macro function was added. It also optimized the breathing effect for video shooting. 3. ** Super Horizon Mirror **: For users who feel that 200mm is not enough, manufacturers have introduced some 28 - 400mm, 50 - 300mm, or 50 - 400mm lenses to meet the market demand in the past two years. It is suitable for photography users who pursue lightness and don't want to bring too many lenses. It is a good choice for landscape photography and street sweeping scenes. For example, the Nikon Z28 - 400mm F4 - 8 VR was priced at 9399 yuan. It was very convenient for travel enthusiasts. It was much lighter than the 70 - 200mm and 50 - 400mm. It was only 725g, and the overall quality and sharpness of the lens were passable. Tenglong 50 - 300mm F4.5 - 6.3E mount, priced at 5890 yuan. It was relatively popular recently and basically needed to be pre-sold before delivery. The overall picture quality was not bad. The 665g weight felt lighter to the hand. It supported the anti-shake function of the VC. The closest focusing distance of the 50mm end was 0.22m, and the magnification was 1:2. Read more exciting novels for free
