It was feasible for undergraduate students to be soldiers and enter the non-commissioned officer school, but they needed to pay attention to the following aspects: ##I. Requirements for the application 1. * * Requirement for Military Service Period ** - The requirement was to serve for at least one year, but not more than three years. For those who re-enlisted, the total duration of their two enlistment periods did not exceed three years. Those who have carried out overseas, escort, and peace-keeping missions can be relaxed for one year. 2. * * Other conditions ** - Political status and marital status were not required. - Requires volunteers to serve in active service to the rank of Class 2 Staff Sergeant or above (police rank). Non-direct recruitment and targeted training of non-commissioned officers. - The conclusion of the physical examination organized by the military was that he passed. ##2. Comparisons with the promotion Bachelor's degree graduates were more recommended to be promoted in the army because they met the academic requirements for promotion.(Before entering the army, they were full-time graduates of ordinary colleges and universities, participated in the national college entrance examination, and were uniformly admitted by the provincial admission examination institutions and obtained full-time bachelor's degree and bachelor's degree graduates.) Promotion did not require three years of training like in a non-commissioned officer school. Instead, it only required a few months of direct training to be awarded a position. From the perspective of time cost and future career planning, it was better for undergraduate graduates to choose promotion in the army. However, promotion required a pre-examination and a comprehensive examination, so the competition was fierce. ##3. Chance of going ashore (Take a second-year undergraduate as an example) If an undergraduate entered the army in their second year, they could not be promoted and could only enter the military school. If you consider the non-commissioned officer school, the rate of landing is relatively high. Under the premise of 850 points in the military examination, generally speaking, one could go ashore after reaching 400 points. However, according to the attributes of the non-commissioned officer school, the admission score would also be different. Therefore, the score of the target school must be clear as a reference. At the same time, there was no distinction between arts and sciences for the non-commissioned officer military school examination. There might be a phenomenon of weak subjects pulling marks in the preparation review, but it could be consolidated and improved by finding scientific learning methods and skills. ##4. The Benefits of a Noncommissioned Officer School 1. * * Financial aspects ** - Exemption from all tuition and miscellaneous fees. - Three years of schooling counted as a military year, and there was a salary during the schooling period, which was about 6000 yuan per month. 2. * * Education and Professional Development ** - You can get a college degree, and some core majors can get a bachelor's degree. - After graduation, he would become a management sergeant. In principle, he would be signed as a sergeant for the third term (he could be arranged to work in the future). - There are winter and summer vacations. Read more exciting novels for free
