Do you get a scholarship just because you have good grades in college?
Good grades alone did not guarantee a scholarship in university. Scholarship evaluation was the result of comprehensive consideration. Although academic performance accounted for a large part of the scholarship evaluation, the proportion was usually around 50% to 60%, but in addition to grades, it also included moral education, intellectual education, and sports. In terms of moral education, social work such as class cadre and student union cadre, participation in volunteer work, three rural activities, etc. could add points; in terms of intellectual education, participating in academic competitions, publishing articles in well-known journals, etc. would add points; in terms of sports, participating in sports activities and sports competitions could add points, and winning more points. In addition, there was also the student evaluation segment. In addition, if there was a violation of national law, school discipline, school rules, academic ethics, re-examination or re-examination of the course, failure to register on time without approval, failure to arrive at school, non-payment of school fees, etc., the scholarship would be disqualified. Therefore, in order to get a scholarship in university, in addition to ensuring excellent results, one also had to actively participate in various activities, abide by the school rules and regulations, and pay attention to the improvement of overall quality.
