Canon cameras could be used for jewelry photography. Here are some key points when shooting jewelry: 1. ** Choice of lens **: The macro lens is the first choice, such as the EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM or the RF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, which can capture the details of the jewelry well and highlight the designer's creativity. 2. ** camera settings **: - ** Aperture **: In order to focus more images, you can use a small aperture, such as f/22 to achieve a deep depth of field. - ** Shutter Speed **: Usually set to 1/100. - ** Iso-level: Can be set to 100. - ** Mount a tripod **: This is very important to avoid blurring the photo due to shaking hands. 3. ** Lighting **: - ** Dealing with reflection **: The studio environment should be dark. Control the lighting to adjust the degree of light reflection. A diffusing device could be used to reduce the reflection on the metal surface, and the reflective plate could be placed closer to the subject to make the light softer. The white reflective plate could reflect light back to the jewelry and hide the surrounding objects. The black reflective plate could eliminate the reflection on the flat gold jewelry. - ** Focus on the noble angle of the jewelry **: It is important to observe every corner of the jewelry before shooting. The effect of the diamond is different from different angles. When drawing the lighting plan, you must pay attention to each part of the jewelry. For black gemstone images, you can use multiple light sources to create layering, and use a mask on a lamp to create a striped lighting pattern to increase the attractiveness. - ** Light distribution for jade photography (refer to similar principles)**: Jade is a translucent material, and its light distribution needs to consider the water head (penetrability) and polishing process. Water head (penetrability) can be expressed by backlighting and one-way linear light; polishing process (smoothness) can be expressed by side light and bright spot reflection. To preserve details, soft light box or sulfuric acid paper can be used; the expression method of both water head and polishing process is to use high-light spots to make the material smooth and reflective, and use local linear strong light to express water head penetrability. There was no fixed rule for light distribution, and the light source had to be flexibly adjusted according to the quality. 4. ** Color precision and restoration **: If you use the Divine Bull flash (output color temperature is 5300K), you can adjust the camera's color temperature to 5300K to ensure that the color of the jewelry is true. You can also fine-tune it later. 5. ** Choice of background **: If it is jade, a light-colored background is not conducive to the reproduction of the outline and decorative patterns. It is better to use a darker background, such as dark gray, dark coffee, or dark green. 6. ** Method of composition **: Try to use the central composition or diagonal composition on the product composition to shoot. The camera and the product should be at a 45-degree angle to make the visual feel more comfortable. Read more exciting novels for free
