The following is a lesson plan and reflection on the calendar: ##1. Teaching plan: Understanding the Calendar ###(1) Activity Target 1. Let the children understand the basic information of the calendar and the relationship between the year, month, day, and week. 2. Help children understand the function of the calendar and use it to find the information they need. ###(2) Event preparation 1. Ask the parents to help collect all kinds of wall calendar, desk calendar, calendar, calendar card, etc. to decorate the classroom. 2. Prepare a calendar card for each child, and a desk calendar for each group. 3. Prepare learning resources for young children (e.g. page 25 of the relevant textbooks). ###(3) Activity process 1. * * Observe the calendar and explore its functions ** - * * Riddles lead to the calendar **: Through guessing riddles to arouse the interest of the child, and then ask the child how he guessed it. - [Understanding Different Calendars]: Guide children to communicate with each other and share the different calendars they have seen. For example, a calendar with one day per page, a weekly calendar with one week per page, a monthly calendar with one month per page, an annual calendar with one year per page, a wall calendar, a desk calendar, an annual calendar card, and an electronic calendar. - [Understand the relationship between year, month, and season: Take out the calendar card and tell the child that there are 12 months in a year, and three months are a season. There are four seasons in total.] - [Learn to Check Calendar]: Teach children to determine the day of the month and the day of the week. Find the current month in the calendar, find the date of the day in the calendar, and determine the day of the week. 2. * * Try to use the Calendar Card to enrich your life experience ** - * * Find and Record the Birthday Date **: Ask the children to find their and their loved ones 'birthdays and record them. Then, introduce their birthdays to everyone and share the method to find the birthday date on the calendar card. - * * Find the location of the festival and answer the day of the week **: Find the specific location of New Year's Day, Women's Day, May Day, Children's Day, National Day, etc. on the calendar card. Answer the question and answer the day of the week of these festivals. If you answer correctly, you will be rewarded with a small sticker. 3. * * Time Concept Education **: Ask the child what day of the week it is and what day of the month it is tomorrow. Let the child know that a new day will replace the past day, and a new year will replace the past year. Time will never return, and every day must be cherished. ###(4) Activity Extension Please open the relevant learning resources (e.g. page 25) and make the monthly calendar for this month. ##2. Reflection on Teaching 1. * * Basic Knowledge for Young Children ** - When the activity began to let the children know the calendar of that year, they realized that most of the children did not know it, and only a small number of children could tell. This showed that the children did not have enough basic knowledge about the calendar before teaching. 2. * * The effectiveness of teaching methods ** - It was very effective to attract children's attention by telling stories about the New Year. The story format helped children understand the calendar and stimulated their enthusiasm to participate in activities. It made it easier for them to understand that there were 365 days in a year, which were divided into 12 months, and the differences in the days in different months. - By letting the children come to the front to look for the children of the year mother (representing the month), the enthusiasm of the children to participate was greatly improved, and the effect of the children's mastery of knowledge was better. 3. * * Achievement of the event objective ** - The goal of understanding the calendar was basically achieved by children through various methods, such as observing different calendar cards. - More intensive practice was needed to help children understand the relationship between year, month, day, and week. For example, when looking for the week corresponding to the festival, some children reacted slowly, indicating that they were not familiar with this relationship. - The question-and-answer session played a role in guiding children to cherish their time, but it could also be further strengthened in subsequent activities, such as discussions on how to arrange their time for the day. Read more exciting novels for free
