What is the plot of the light novel 'A Christmas Star A Cape'?

The following is a narrative essay suitable for fourth graders: "I grew up in setbacks." As I grew up, there was one thing that shone like a bright star in the depths of my memory. It was a school skipping competition. I always thought that skipping rope was great, so I signed up without hesitation. In the preparation stage before the competition, I was always full of confidence and felt that the championship was mine, so I didn't practice particularly seriously. The day of the competition had finally arrived. I stood on the field and looked at the students around me who were full of fighting spirit, but I still didn't care. When the whistle sounded, I started to skip rope, but after a few jumps, I felt my arms ache and my breathing became rapid. He looked at the students next to him. They were like light swallows, jumping quickly and rhythmically. I grew more and more flustered, and as a result, I kept making mistakes, either hitting my feet with the rope or tripping over them. After the competition, I saw that my results were far behind the other students. At that time, my heart felt like it was being pressed by a big stone. It was extremely uncomfortable. I returned home dejectedly, locked myself in my room, and couldn't help but cry. I thought, how could I lose so badly? At this moment, I saw the small pine tree outside the window. It grew in the crack of the wall, surrounded by hard stones and little soil, but it still tried to grow upwards. Its branches were straight and its pine needles were green. Seeing the little pine tree so strong, I suddenly felt very ashamed. The small pine tree could thrive in such a difficult environment, but I was so depressed just because I failed in a rope skipping competition. I should be like the small pine tree and face the setbacks bravely. From then on, I would get up early every day to practice skipping rope. When my arm was sore, I would rest for a while before continuing. After a period of hard work, my rope skipping skills have greatly improved. Although the failure of the rope skipping competition made me very sad, it also made me understand a truth: on the road of growth, you can't be arrogant and complacent, and you can't be discouraged when you encounter setbacks. You have to stand up firmly and move forward bravely. Only then can you continue to grow. Read more exciting novels for free

" Even if you see mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas, you are not limited to the kitchen and love." This sentence expressed a pursuit of freedom, vastness, and a diverse life. On one hand," seeing mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas " symbolized the desire to explore the distance, nature, and the world. The mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas represented the vast world, different sceneries, and unknown journeys. They embodied the spirit of pursuing freedom, pursuing rich experiences, and eager to break through their own limitations to see the world. On the other hand," not limited to the kitchen and love " was an attitude that transcended the traditional and relatively limited lifestyle. Usually," kitchen and love " symbolized the warmth of family life, but it could also be a trivial part. If a person was " not limited " to this, it meant that they did not want to be bound by family life, but hoped to have more roles, experiences, and pursuits in life. In general, this sentence reflected a positive attitude towards life that yearned for the warmth of emotions and family, and yearned to explore freely in a larger world, pursue dreams, and realize their own values. Yang Zi resigned from the role of Ah Ke in "The Deer and the Cauldron." On the one hand, it was because her image was quite different from Ah Ke's image. If she acted rashly, the quality of the TV series might decline. On the other hand, Yang Zi and Zhang Yishan had played siblings in " There are Children at Home." If they played Ah Ke, there would be intimate scenes and kissing scenes. This might be difficult for the two of them and the audience to accept, and there might be all kinds of gossip.
