Lin Chong was one of the leaders of Liangshanpo. He was born in poverty, but his character was open-minded, brave, and good at fighting. He was deeply loved by readers. He was never afraid of his enemies. Every time he fought, he was full of confidence. His courage, determination, and perseverance were admirable. In Water Margins, Chong Lin's image was full of positive energy. He used his own practical actions to show a true hero image. Chong Lin also had an important characteristic, which was his strong self-control. He never indulged himself and would not be influenced by the external environment. He was demoted to a commoner because he offended Grand Marshal Gao at the beginning of the uprising in Liangshan Lake.
