The Writing Backgrounds of Feng Jicai's "Cultural Vision"

" Cultural Vision " was a modern Chinese story about the author interviewing cultural celebrities in a small city in northern China. The story was set in the 1930s, during China's War of Resistance against Japan and the civil war between the Chinese and the Guomindang. In this turbulent era, many cultural celebrities chose to leave the city and their relatives to silently defend the countryside and the wilderness in order to protect their cultural heritage and pass on their ideas. Through interviews with these cultural celebrities, the author gained an in-depth understanding of how they persisted in their ideas and creations in difficult environments and how they protected cultural heritage in times of war. This article shows the tenacity and wisdom of the cultural celebrities of the time, and also shows the author's concern for cultural heritage and history.
