What is scar literature?

Scar literature (also known as "suffering literature" or "prisoner of war literature") refers to the literature after the end of the Second World War that described the sufferings, losses, and resistance of the local people caused by the war in China, the Soviet Union, Vietnam, and other Asian countries.
