Western literature, on the other hand, focused more on narration, emphasizing the plot and character characteristics of the characters to convey emotions and thoughts through direct description and dialogue. The narrative style of Western literature often used events as the main line to push the development of the story through the twists and conflicts of the plot. Although both Chinese literature and Western literature have their own unique narrative methods, the characteristics of lyricism and narration are not the same.
