I really hate when authors make the Mc mentally unstable for the sake of character development. I know as an author it seems clever and unique, but when you see this kind of trope so many times, as a reader it becomes annoying and obvious because you expect how the character is supposed to develop. When he was first transmigrated and decided to leave the dukes house instead of waitin to get disowned, it made him seem real decisive and mature but later on when he interacts with other characters or his actions he acts like a 13 year old. what makes readers want to read a novel is the premise of the story and first impression of the Mc. When you change that it’s almost like a smack in the face to us, when we thought we were getting a mature, decisive, witty, funny, and Chad Mc but what we get in turn is a whiney, mentally unstable 13 year old with a cringe system. IT RUINS THE CHARACTER. So even though we know he will grow it makes that process so much more annoying. In conclusion for a new author it’s a pretty good story and in the future I’m sure it will be a masterpiece, but as of right now it’s pretty mediocre. I hope his development won’t be a long drawn out process because it waste the readers time. Best of luck to the author ✍️ hope u keep writing💯

贊I agree with almost everything that you said except the part where you said that him leaving the Duke's house was decisive and mature. NOTHING about that was decisive or mature at all. His brother literally just greeted him, then insulted him and talked about how he's not his brother, then said to his dad that he's not his dad and was surprised that he got hit, then, he left the house because of that. How is that decisive and mature at all? That was a big indication of what the future of the story is gonna be like.
I agree, although he didn’t handle it in a mature way I believe it was the correct choice to leave if he was going to get disowned regardless

if that was an indication of the future of this novel as you have said then that would mean that you agree whether you like it or not that this novel is of bellow average quality.

He literally knows his future besides at that time he was nyrel without Edwards memories ,most of all he has no relationship between them ,thomen is just Edwards adopter father , he never really loved him .Besides Nyrel wants to avoid death flag .So I will say it's a wise decision

So? Since he's gonna get kicked out soon then what he should've just stay there and get the benefits of staying there. If he has no relationships between them then why did he throw a tantrum like a child instead of using them for the time being and come up of better plans when he gets his bearing together while he's still being taken care of by them? Dude, how old are you?
