Yes but there are different levels of it, sometimes is just too much. If you have great writing skills and make the story interesting this problem may be overcomed a little but this is not the case.

It depends on how you carry the story, it can catch you as if you were in that world or it could be as if a strange friend read you his personal diary.

i stopped reading it long ago the day i posted my comment at least i don´t give the author a bad review since i hope he keeps writing, yes i don´t like it but i think people can get better if they keep writing, i don´t say it with bad intentionts.
