Really good. At times, the story is a little rushed and events that would normally be narrated are skipped entirely, and until the MCs leave the city it feels more like an entertaining summary than a novel, but it also means we don't spend 50 chapters on needless drama. There isn't much characterisation at this time, and I'm confused as to how leaving the city was the best option (surely the crown Prince had at least *some* loyal supporters? And how is he doing to muster any forces of he's stuck up in the North?) But it's enjoyable. Kind of like Assassin Farmer. Hope it gets picked.

LIKERight?! Unless he was planning on leaving the royal family for good, but there's been no mention of that. Feels like the author just had the initial idea and didn't both fleshing out motivations or the logical conclusion to all this...
pearl_tegal:Yeah, I am also confused on this part, why he is leaving totally and not clearing his charges, finding evidence and restore his position and after going to North, how will he make a comeback?
Yeah, He didn't want to leave. It's showed like that they have no other choice but to go north. and the author didn't even mention the emperor's point of view, ML was the crown prince so he might be favoured by the emperor no?!
