well... harem stories usualy do not have a lot of plot outside of the harem members or logic for that matter, so by making a fanfic of a harem story without a harem you actually have to make up a bunch of stuff yourself sure this can still turn into a good story, but if you have enough talent for that you could write anything well... wheras turning a story filled with good plot into a harem story could still leave you with a decent harem story even with lacking talent. sure that comes at the sacrifice of the plot and would almost always be a lesser version of the original, but a lesser version of something great does not mean bad. and given dxd in my opinion is not even a good story in the first place and is solely carried by the girls in it, making the assumption that not including the one thing that carries the story in your novel would make for a bad story is usually correct.

The main focus of dxd isn't the harem though. That's the narrative you guys try to push, and it isn't a story that's harem. it's a story that includes harems.

There’s zero sense into what your saying so maybe you need to be kept into a mental hospital. Just because the original Mc do something does that compell you to do something. If someone tells you to jump off a bridge and kill yourself would you do it? No you wouldn’t so why don’t you use your brain and think for yourself. The entire point of making a fanfic with a new Mc is so that the Mc can explore the story with a different view point and ideas. I’m worried about you in real life because you sound gullible and down bad.

Thanks, I admit I have my moments where I falter and make myself look dumb(mostly when I'm trolling or trying to troll people) but I try to be the voice of9 reason on such an unreasonable app. Most of these dudes are losers in real life who've given up on achieving anything of substance, and so they live their fantasies through this app/fanfics. Which is why you see so many unreasonable people. I've said all this bs to say that my reading list isn't very good, I'd have to sift through and make a new list to make sure you're getting quality reads. As my list is now, you might be able to find some gems, but after skimming through so much trash.
