The title and synopsis don't match the content, like, at all. Just as someone else said, they probably took the title and synopsis of a different story and stuck it on the actual novel to help hide away their dirty deeds of copy/pasting their MTLs and Westernising them. Either way, I enjoy the actual story. Seems less "Chinese carbon-copy"-ish than your usual stories. No young masters, no courting death, no princesses, or the main character acting like an infant human despite originally being an 18-year-old human and now in the body of a dragon. Yes, this story has its a fair share of problems, but it's far better than your other ones. I hope this passes the trial read because I'm absolutely bored and for some reason my mind enjoys chewing up stories like this one.

LIKEThe only reason my standards are terrible is that I have no underrated content to read. I've read all of the headline novels that have been released and have dropped them all one after another because they get repetitive. Every book that I've read recommended by people that's underrated either goes into hiatus, has really large gaps in their release schedule or ends up just like the bigshot novels and becomes repetitive. There's little that's enjoyable that I stay true to until the end because I don't feel the satisfaction of doing so. If you have any stories you'd recommend, pitch them to me. I'll just grind through them as I've done with others. And please, don't give me your reading history list. Give me the ones you find genuinely interesting. I couldn't care less about the genre. It's the way people write and the planning they do prior that either keeps me reading or throws me out. But, if you do want to look per genre, fantasy and sci-fi are my go-to. |||| By the way, this is a story that won in the Vote Pool. Essentially meaning, this story is one of the best of the worst. These are all Chinese carbon-copy MTLs that have been ripped off faloo (or taken from Qidian, their main website), machine-translated, and pasted here. So of course it's going to be bad: All Chinese novels are wish-fulfilment. If you want actual content, get out of /vote, and go to /stories/novel, or go to a completely different website altogether. Webnovel is the international version of Qidian, a website notoriously known for paying Chinese writers to write poor content.
Veer_Singh_6983:seriously ppls standards are terrible, this is a horrendously poorly written book. save your time and money and don't read it.
A different review says that the title/synopsis MAY come from the faloo novel "重生红龙:自律就变强". It's completely Chinese, so unless you can find a website that has machine translated it, your best bet is Google website translation. By the way, you can only read the first 77 chapters. The rest, from 78 until 452 (The book is finished, by the way.) you have to pay for.
Morning_DawnStar:Any iDea were we can find the book that fits the Synopsis?
Desolate era is a really good cultivation novel. It is finished but there are about 1450 chapters to read

Monster Integration... I think that's the name... was a pretty interesting story that doesn't seem particularly cliche or repetitive. I'd like to recommend my book but that's very much not updating regularly enough and that was one of your complaints... so can't...

I remember seeing that a long time ago, but the synopsis seems rather dull if you ask me. And the reviews don't help in the slightest. Lots of people complain about the simplicity of the main character's desires and all of the grammatical mistakes. I'll give it a shot later on because I've got a couple of stories to catch up on, but considering what other people have said about it, there's a good chance I won't be finishing it.

oh yeah the gramar isn't that good but honestly it's not that far off of this novel... and it's definitely better then some I've seen.

the issue with faloo is that the chapters are posted in image format, meaning you cant auto translate or copy-paste. Only option is to screen and image translate multiple times per chapter which makes reading impossible

One sci-fi novel that I liked to read was "It's hard to be a man after travelling to the future". Prior warning, its a female MC and I have met some people who wouldn't touch a female MC novel with a 10ft barge-pole. Its about a transmigrator who is forced to pretend to be a male to protect her family from their greedy relatives. I remember she gets a futuristic system that helps her train. She does train as a baby but its not completely illogical? Like there is a reason that is mentioned so I'll let you read about that if you haven't picked this up already. Its was a read that I really liked a few years back, I dropped it along with "Gourmet In Another World" and "Ultimate Scheming System" because I ran out of spirit stones and had exams and just never picked them up again, both of which are fantastic reads but those are Xianxia novels and I vaguely remember Gourmet In Another World being a bit repetitive however from what I remember the first 600 chapters of Ultimate Scheming System aren't exactly repetitive but can be seen as cliche? That being said, I will start to re-read them starting with Ultimate Scheming System.

That first novel seems interesting—I'll give it a look. Unique plot and has more open-ended routes to take that (probs) aren't cliché. I've tried Gourmet in another World, but dropped it for the same reason you said; It got repetitive. I'll throw Ultimate Scheming System into my "Get over 200 chapters before reviewing" list. Yeah, 200 chapters may seem like a lot but some Xianxias only start getting good after the "tutorial" section (About 50 chapters, but I stick for longer to see what the actual story is about). You know, early-game power building with lots of cliché and stuff. Thanks for the novels!

Ah, I don't know about paid chapters. However, you can't copy/paste the text from the free chapters for the story, so I assumed that it was also an image. I thought that maybe Google Website Translation took a picture of the entire website and translated the parts that have typed text on them; Google can do that. You can do it with your phone's camera, so they can do it with a website-wide screenshot. If I'm wrong, then I can't do much about paid chapters, only the free ones are available for you.
Blacklotus:yes paid chapters are image format
Blood Warlock is a pretty good novel that hasn’t been too repetitive so far at about chapter 550 right now
