I've heard of edge of tomorrow. Didn't know it had this kind of plot. There have been 2 novels in the last few months with this plot .This should be the third I've seen

The one I read was : From The Start, I Traded A Galactic Warship which is about the MC getting a trading platform where he can enter the mystery platform that only humans can use. Except the other humans on that platform are from 3000 years in the future and he can trade knowledge and items from the future (to save humanity), and the thing that he has that is of value is human civilization/heritage (can be knowledge or antiques) of Earth's humans which was wiped out since the humans in the future need it to cultivate to higher levels, and because all of Earth's heritage was wiped out when they became enslaved. The second novel (I didn't read it though) is called : I Hijacked The Timeline. According to the synopsis, it's about the MC traveling to the future 1500 years ahead of time and gaining knowledge and using it to save humanity since they get wiped out.

Did a search and realized I made a mistake. I thought you were talking about Superstars of Tomorrow. I've never heard of the movie you mentioned lol

first of all i read this novel from the beginning to the end. plot focus changes with the time, and the main hook of influencing future today goes away in the middle of the book. imo this is a change for the worse, but its still readable. like any asian novel we have some fair bit of nationalism, they always find place to put it in in their novels. i disliked how some important themes were sidelined and forgotten by the change of plot, but its overall decent story. i recommend reading it, early chapters are well worth it and later ones are okayish

Was really good until we got into 10 straight chapters of nationalistic beliefs. It’s sprinkled throughout the early chapters, but it became much to hypocritical by chapter 420. I couldn’t continue on after the line China will never change, so you might as well let us lead and return to where we should be. It was too much.

This book has an incredible amount of potential! The characters are all very well made and fleshed out, the plot is very well done (mix of many major and minor box office influences), the technical side while indepth is not alienating and you can tell the author did their homework. Ideology, Psychology, Quantum Theory, Higher Math etc etc is used while also ensuring the audience sees the Sci-Fi fantasy element(s). Other than a few typos, misnomers in he/she designations and some nationalism and geopolitical blah(face it folks it's gonna happen just breeze by it if you can) I HIGHLY suggest this novel. This story, for some, will draw you in and hold you captive until the final page of each arc and each arc is better than the last IMHO.
