Review made as of chapter 6(7 if you count the auxillary), 02/06/2021 Overall Rating: 3 stars Writing Quality 3 stars: It's understandable, but there is a frequent lack of punctuations, misuse of certain punctuations like elli**is, and certain statements that disrupt the feel of the whole sentence or paragraph. Stability of Updates 4 stars: There are currently 20 chapters, most of which were posted within 3 days of each other, with some being posted on the same day. Story Develeopment 3 stars: It's been 6 chapters with little progression to the plot, I'm usually fine with this but the writing quality disrupts any sense of immersion I might have felt and making it feel boring. Character Design 2 stars: This is what really made me drop despite only reading 6 chapters. The MC is childish; he gets angry at the unknown being responsible for reincarnating him because his wishes were denied. It's understandable to feel a little irritated because the wishes technically fit the requisite that he was given, however it doesn't make sense for a regular 26 year old man who takes the situation as camly as he did at the beginning to suddenly shout at a being who can probably erase you from existence and something you think is a "god" over something so trivial without even waiting for him to explain while shouting about how you want to be overpowered. Honestly, MCs who shout at a somewhat reasonable R.O.B. while physically rambling on about becoming overpowered are just as cringe as the ones who shout about making a harem. It would be fine if it was a mental one and not given much attention, like if it was shortened to a single sentence. Afterall, they have certain expectations after reading novels or whatever, but rambling about it is one of the main reasons why people came to hate japanese novels. The MC is also stupid, he asked for average looks, but thinks that he's gonna be handsome after seeing his pretty mother, becoming disappointed after seeing his average looking father. He is incredibly impatient, he's 8 years old and is understandably asked about where he's going during breakfast, but he gets angry at the woman who raised him for preventing him because it's dangerous for him to go alone, which he does anyway. There is a girl who is a yandere for the MC, a "kind old woman" who takes care of him and the orphans, a potions guy who's a friend of the kind old lady, and like 2 other orphans who don't like the idea of adoption. The kind old lady and potions guy are both wizards, the kind old lady was kind enough not to turn the MC to the authorities after obliviate failed, and the potions guy is excited about for some reason after seeing that he's immune to it, accepting to teach him if he has any talent in potion making. World Background 3 stars: The MC understandably didn't have much knowledge of the HP world and therefore, not much of it explained. Could rate it higher but I'm only on chapter six and magic, potions, obliviate, and Diagon Alley were the only things mentioned, not described much, just mentioned. It's probably fine since most people already know these things since it's a fanfic.
