I agree with the redemption part but I don't think being a victim will give him as an excuse for those actions he's been doing,. He abuse his power/status, he threatened, hurt and tried to kill. His arrogance and selfishness maybe a result of his circumstance he was in but everything he do is based on the choices he make and it is his entirely responsibility.

Too many inconsistencies in storyline, in latest updates you will wonder if you still reading the same novel as before.. The flow of the story greatly diverted to what this novel is all about.. It became a beast taming like genre n completely focus on it., never ever mentioned the spell/runes for long time, as if the mc had completely forgotten about it.

I thought it will be more on exploring and learning different spells, improving his crude way of using runes, but rather he became well known as beast tamer, and the story now was fully focus on that,. Never even slightly mentioning about the spell/runes.
