Hi. happy that you like the story. And no, Andrew won't have super powers . He's the co-leader of the forces's in Atlanta and the surrounding areas .

I intend to make them be part of the story slowly . They will have different character development , with the story being different from the original .

I didn't gave a name to Andrew's faction. And the reason for why PADRE or ISS couldn't contact them is because they didn't have their comunication equipment upgraded to be able of transmiting and receiving long range transmisions.

Thanks for the ideas. I didn't read the novels, mainly because I wasn't aware of them. I looked a bit into the time where the events with the cult takes place and is around 9 months in. I will look more into it.

The VR equipment is something like the one from SAO. The MC isn't military but has some capabilities , there will be other people (players ) . While in the story those universes are mainly extremely realistic simulations , I'm writing them like they are actual dimensions . The players are stuck there, with the MC ending up in universes that not many would want to set foot in . There will be a system that provides limited support and objectives that will allow the MC to move to a different "universe ".
