Its only two chapters but there is very huge potential for this story, i hope the author keeps updating regularly in order for his ff to get popular and reach out to more audience. Seeing boruto ff on webnovel is rare so im very excited.
In Shinigami in the Ninja World, Naruto Uzumaki gains the ability to travel between the Ninja World and the mysterious (Soul Society). The story is told through his diary entries, which offer a personal glimpse into his thoughts and emotions as he navigates this strange new existence. Naruto initially struggles with the weight of being brought back to life, questioning whether it might have been better to remain dead. His search for his parents in the proves fruitless, leaving him disconnected from both worlds. As time passes, his desire to become Hokage fades, replaced by a growing interest in becoming a Shinigami, in the hope that he might find his family and reunite with them. Overall, Shinigami in the Ninja World presents a mix of familiar themes with new, darker elements. Naruto's internal conflict and search for meaning add a reflective layer to the story, though some readers may find the shift in tone from the original Naruto series to be somewhat jarring. The novel offers a fresh take on Naruto's character, but it may not resonate with everyone, depending on how much they enjoy introspective narratives.
Overall, the story is intriguing, with a unique take on the Uchiha clan's revenge and a system-driven narrative that adds an RPG-like twist. The translation quality is solid, making it easy to follow along without any significant language issues, which is definitely a plus. However, the pacing could use some improvement. The fight scenes, particularly the battles involving Hiruzen and Danzo, feel like they drag on for too many chapters. This slows down the overall flow of the story, and the villains, while well-written, sometimes come off as one-dimensional. Despite that, it's an enjoyable read for fans of the Uchiha clan and those who like system-based stories.
