Oh dear, I think Aiden is scheming to make things worse than death for Aaron & those whom harmed Alexa.

If I'm right, I smell a trap Aiden's setting for Aaron. If I'm wrong, Aaron's setting another one for Alexa.

Me ranting at Mike, Nora's hopefully soon to be ex: Really, Mike? Really? That sounds more like a "you problem" than Nora's problem. If you have no self-control that's on you & Nora has a right to kick you to the curb. ~ End Ranting at the character Mike. Me talking to Nora: Also, Nora, get a receipt for that card as proof. There's a story on here where an FL didn't & got sued for extra. That FL ended up paying her ex & his side piece double. I'm sure none of the readers want that to happen to you, Nora. ~ End talking to the character, Nora.

This is extremely dangerous if temps drop to the negatives, the heater in the car isn't working &/or the gas is low. Tip: Always have emergency gear/supplies (blankets/sleeping bags, towels, boots, extra socks, mittens/gloves, hat/ear muffs/winter headband, flashlight/lantern, portable battery operated space heater, ice/snow scrapers, shovel, cat litter, human non-perishable food, water, extra batteries, a first aid kit, & a vomit bucket with plastic bags) in the car/vehicle during winter months/cold seasons. (There is a similar but slightly different list for summer months/warm seasons).

I was not prepared for this to enter the horror genre.

Money is *not* everything. Between insurance companies denying patient care/medications & doctors not having the time/hours to care for patients, people die IRL. Poor Alexa, Aiden, & their babies. Alexa is probably going to be devastated & Aiden's most likely heading out on a rampage. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole city is leveled by the time this story ends.

To be fair, this is one area where doctors legally have to intervene in a marriage &/or family/domestic situation. Therefore, if Aiden were an abuser the doctor would have to remove him for the patient's safety & call police to investigate. That said, Aiden's not the one who did it & the doctor's prejudice is getting in the way of his asking questions. Hopefully, the doctor learns his mistake & either apologizes or does as the GIF says by acknowledging his mistake.

Well good luck to everyone in the crowd who didn't help Alexa in this chapter. They should all be writing wills or calling their families right about no. No way is Alexa losing her baby not going to have consequences.

There are a few places this story could use some touch-ups to make it more polished. Outside of that, its interesting & easily distinguished from other stories.
