it's a good story don't get me wrong.The writing quality is good and everything is all rainbows and flowers but...I don't know.The Mc feels one dimensional.I feel like I'm reading the point of view of peng clans young master.The way he sees the world is him being superior than everyone else.I think his thinking is too rigid.Its not sly or an intellectual type of superiority like aizen would have, it's a brute type of superiority.My second problem is the story development.From the beginning it's always felt like he's been getting played with.Hes like a shadow when it comes to things.Theirs the leader and then theirs the brute strength.In this relationship with Aizen he's the brute who believes that he somehow stands toe to toe intellectually with the leader.It just feels like he's trying to play smart but it's not giving smart.Idk how to explain.Everytime him and Aizen interact it just always looks like he's getting played.Hes Aizens thug, is what it feels like.The starting chapters he was already arrogant and felt very superior and without a doubt he was Until he met Aizen.He believed in brute strength to rise up in ranks ect until later on Aizen changed his mind.Idk the Mc reminds me of someone who like meets a smart person and then tries to play smart with the smart person while getting played with.The story just feels like he's a lapdog and not really much of a main character and more of a 'Perspective of a subordiante'.I don't see any relationship anything that would label them as equals.All I see is a master servant relationship but he's the servant and we are reading the servants p.o.v. Some of the comments realize this too.They say he's Aizens thug at this point.Honestly I can't really argue with them.The character came in arrogant and superior now it feels like he's trying to play smart but it isn't working and he's also getting manipulated.Its just weird.It feels like I'm reading a story of a not so smart Mc.This is my first time reading one of those and this is my first time seeing a main character get manipulated or at least feeling like he is. Those are my reasons for my rating. ✌.
