I think lots of guys misunderstood here. The term “help Oreki gets the girls” doesn’t mean the author will give him the main heroines but instead, I think he will manipulate Oreki so that he could fall in love with the other hidden or sub heroines or maybe some mob girls that had nothing with the story or those that will later show up and could catch the heart of Oreki. Moreover, I don’t think the author will let Satoshi missed the great reward especially from the main heroine one or else, he will regret it.

Sometimes, pride is needed for a men cuz without pride, a men is not a men. However, in this case, I wouldn’t criticize Mc. Still, I think none of this would have happened if Mc showed his face to them before they entered the hotel and the problems would solve instantly. As for the concept of Villian Halo and heroines’ zero resistance towards seduction, it should blame on the will of the world itself since it was a freaking netorare world, every netorare Mc is destined to get a green hat cuz the villain was destined to be the winner, not the protagonist! Even now, it could be considered that the blond hair man’s was Tsukimi first man even if she hasn’t lost her virginity outside but emotionally… so mc has already got cucked by logic!

I feel like the author is trying to criticize those NTR fans and wrote this story out of his frustration or perhaps, he would like to teach fans how to be a good and open-minded person despite getting a green hat. Well, I would rather live with pride and selfish than let someone shitted on my head and get away easily.And this mc’s nerve wrecking self-believe is kind of annoying for some reason…
