Read the whole thing, the pacing is good if you don’t have a TikTok brain like half the reviewers. The Mc slowly adapts like a human and once he overcomes his mental block it gets 1000x better. The emotions the Mc feels in the story aren’t too forced and the supporting characters are fleshed out enough as well. The main drawback is the fact that most of the females are super cliche, Fe: Crazy yandere Tsun tsun knight Childhood best friend who has always loved him And prob the Flmc of the original story after she finds the truth They aren’t very real feeling. I’d rather no romance than the stereotypical harem that will not progress and will just be used as filler in between plot points. Overall not bad ig. Has pontential to be amazing and could be someone’s favorite story.

Your stance on reading is pure boredom, it seems like you care more about the fact that the author didn’t calculate the effect traveling at light speed and hitting the particle limit of the universe over just enjoying the books narrative. The author isn’t an all knowing god so idk why you would care about the math portion when you could just half tune out logic like any other cultivation novel.

Ok, long review here on a “loving rant” one could say. To preface the review I will say I love the novel, the characters are very fluid in there writing, not any overlapping character traits and if there are they are executed with minute but distinct changes that alter the dynamics of conversations and dialogue for the characters. The energy of the main character and his story is breathtaking and has a human direction without ruining the main characters growth and struggle. The romance is meh, but meh is better than “the plague” of sacrificial Mc harems that go knowhere and amount to nothing so yeah. The plot from beginning to end of the games plot was almost perfect, you can see the authors writing style develop and create what was the best part of the story imo. Now, with all this out of the way, onto The “bad” parts. (Not saying it’s bad btw) The creativity and fluidity is at its limit, and it’s the number 1 problem with cultivation novels imo. You write all these cool characters, this insane power system, a never ending world building process, all the hype and fun involved. In doing so you burn the spark to write better creatively and you make your writing feel repetitious. That’s why when you write a story you need a fleshed out beginning and ending that you stick to, so you don’t hit this loop of repetition and boredom. Spoken by someone who hit that wall :(. It’s like if I kept writing this comment and went on and on about how you will feel exhausted and struggle to keep up with your story without feeling inferior. In shorter terms, he milked it. The main way the author coped with it was to make the stakes higher and make the Mc go through more suffering without flushing the fine details that made the novel fun like before. Still has a chance to make it good as long as it doesn’t end poorly :) I believe in author raccoon dude.
