Dark fantasy worlds can be very discouraging to write, so partaking on a journey like this requires a very tedious and precautionary approach. I’m glad to say the author does everything very well. You can see the elements the author draws from other extra books while also staying true to a very dark and grim style which I love. Review after my review, I believe I was a little harsh. I believe the romance is ok in all honesty I just wish there was less drama between the women. Give me more in group conflict. The only conflict we get is the occasional Julian berate and him become a good person after. Give me Thrax character growth. Give me Klea accepting Julian’s feelings but denying him. Give me Chumo being a random spirited dude with determination. I want each character to feel like their own story.

Honestly don’t know where to start. Nothing makes any sense. The main character is like a suffering machine with no success at all. The SECOND any goes remotely well for the Mc, it’s either washed down with countless downsides or just straight up pointless and feels shitty. This is the first book I genuinely thought a harem would make it better bc the Mc has legit the best gf but the author sets up these ridiculous moments for the Mc to cheat on her. I’m at about 1500 in the book and I’m legit just skimming because I just want him to get his memories back and not end up in this weird split relationship. This shit genuinely pisses me off like give the fucker a break and stop making him cheat on his gf for no reason, like no man is doing all this shit. The fact that the author has a wife and kids is insane if I was married to this man and saw this book I would divorce his ass because it’s obv a self insert cheat fantasy.

Read the whole thing, the pacing is good if you don’t have a TikTok brain like half the reviewers. The Mc slowly adapts like a human and once he overcomes his mental block it gets 1000x better. The emotions the Mc feels in the story aren’t too forced and the supporting characters are fleshed out enough as well. The main drawback is the fact that most of the females are super cliche, Fe: Crazy yandere Tsun tsun knight Childhood best friend who has always loved him And prob the Flmc of the original story after she finds the truth They aren’t very real feeling. I’d rather no romance than the stereotypical harem that will not progress and will just be used as filler in between plot points. Overall not bad ig. Has pontential to be amazing and could be someone’s favorite story.

Your stance on reading is pure boredom, it seems like you care more about the fact that the author didn’t calculate the effect traveling at light speed and hitting the particle limit of the universe over just enjoying the books narrative. The author isn’t an all knowing god so idk why you would care about the math portion when you could just half tune out logic like any other cultivation novel.
