Haha, you are right, it can be very romcom. I try to put it in action scenes, then I end up scratching it, hehe. This is my first time writing this genre. Thank you for your words. It is a shame that my novel did not meet your expectations, according to the reviews that were genuinely written by some people who actually liked my work. However, I would like to clarify that the characters are not 1-D as more of their selves are revealed later on, and it was not that stupid of the mc to really reveal his identity as the Grand Duke, because what can she even do if she knew? It doesn't change anything, does it? and he knew she wouldn't believe him, anyway. Nevertheless, thank you for giving this a shot. I hope you find better stories that you will enjoy. Haha, sorry if that's not something you like. He is not being evil for the sake of evil, though. He has always had a cold heart. He just used to have quiet and defeated nature since he knew speaking up would only earn more punishment. He was only soft to Iyana, so her betrayal stung him the most here. He never did anything against anybody because he still had her. But now that is gone, he has no reason to maintain a good composure. Idk if that made sense 😓
