What chapter are you up to? Romance stupidity is a pet peeve of mine and I don't want to invest too much time into this story if the entire romance subplot is a "will they/won't they"

Disclaimer, I've read up to around chp 250 on a separate account. The world building is fine, but not great. The characters are OK, but nothing unique to the novel. The grammar is alright as well, but you'll never be wowed by the prose in this novel. What really, REALLY sets this book back is the power rating system and the conflict. Other litrpgs/fantasy books will often use a simple letter ranking system for everything. S-rank dungeons are oh so scary and F-rank adventurers are the lowest of the low. This establishes a scale, a frame of reference, for the protagonists growth. SNoHG uses an incomprehensible system of letters, numbers, and words, and the ranking system is NOT universal. A rank 5 B-rank pseudo-deimos wolf wouldn't be as strong as an equivalently ranked dragon. Thus, the power rating system means virtually nothing and doesn't allow the reader to compare the gains/losses of the protagonist. Now, the conflict. Oh boy is social conflict bad. Everyone who likes the protagonist is saintly and justified in all they do, while antagonists are comically unreasonable and have 0 legitimate reason to dislike the protagonist. A significant portion of the plot progression is tied to stupid people doing stupid things OR the protagonist refusing to rely on his family and friends because "muh own strength" yaddah yaddah. At first I assumed that the author was new and decided to overlook it, but after 250 chapters I just can't stomach it. Also, the s*x scene between two 16 year Olds was completely unnecessary, and is even weirder considering that one of the teens has 30+ years worth of memories.
