A while back, I ran a poll on Patreon for Tyson's next power. So the readers picked who he'd absorb next. It has been a long time since he got a new power for two reasons. 1. I write this story about 6 months in advance. So you're at Chapter 87, but I'm writing Chapter 118 right now. Likewise, when the poll was settled, I had to set the stage properly. 2. I didn't want Tyson to scale tremendously beyond the threats he's facing. He should feel strong, but threats need to be actual threats. Arc 4 was a cakewalk. Arc 5 hit a nice balance between wins and losses. I had to tell the vampire story in Arc 6 because otherwise, vampires wouldn't be a threat. Honestly, the greatest threat in Arc 6 was Jean. Otherwise, I would've needed to let the La Magra ritual play out and have Tyson fight Frost without Blade. We know Avengers is coming, with Loki as the antagonist. Tyson already fought Loki and lost. But with Muse, the outcome might be different. It's a tough balance to maintain. But I think you'll be pleased over the next few chapters.

You aren't the first to comment they want Gambit dead. Tyson is past due for a new power... But Three?
