At first he had an issue with her being a boy, then he thought she was a witch sent to trick him into believing she is his mate and now that he knows she is innocent, he is caught up in the dilemma of her leaving him. She is always telling him she wants to leave him and I think he has caught feelings and he is now desperate to keep her.
