Thanks for the feedback man and all the best on your Naruto fic. I'll give it a read.👍
Mcs body hasn't lived for five centuries. It's the symbiote that has. Not all Goa'ulds use one host. Ashrak, as assassins, don't use a single host because of the nature of their jobs. Mcs body is a recent one. I'll talk about it later on as the story continues.
Sigh. Can't believe I'm going to have to explain this. It's a fanfic, meaning it's fiction. Nothing is real and everything in this story is made up. If you want a reasonable or realistic explanation of how he's using the body, then just think of it as he reincarnating into the body came with the added effect of any disease or anything bad at all in the body being healed or erased. If that makes you happy, take it and just enjoy the story.
How did you read the first chapter? The Mc clearly stated that the body was dead before he reincarnated into it.
He was talking about the use of a Sarcophagus by the Goa'uld to increase their lifespan. Most of the System Lords have been in their hosts for thousands of years, at which point, an inability to use a Sarcophagus makes the host body de-age back go its natural state which lead to them dying of old age. Yes, when a symbiote dies, the host dies as well. That is how our Mc got his new body. Both organisms were dead before he reincarnated into the hosts body.
He's gonna take the ones he needs and use them.
Yeah they will.
Its based primarily on the show but some stuff from the video games and even the novels will appear in this fic.
I think it's still possible. Your questions makes me remember SG-1s first contact with the Tokra. They asked them if they'd be willing to share their bodies with a symbiote, even Carter who had already been a host to Jolinar. The fact that they still asked her despite Jolinar dying in her, makes me think it's possible, but not common.
That only happens when the symbiote has been using the same host for hundreds to thousands of years. At the point, the human body is well past its limits
